About FireQuiz

Free fire safety education for everyone

About FireQuiz

FireQuiz was created with a simple mission: to make fire safety knowledge accessible to everyone, completely free of charge. Fire is one of the most dangerous and unpredictable hazards in any home or workplace, yet most people never receive formal fire safety training beyond the occasional reminder to check their smoke alarm batteries.

Every year, thousands of lives are lost to preventable house fires. Many of these tragedies could be avoided if people knew a few basic fire safety principles — how to prevent fires, how to respond when one starts, and how to escape safely. We created FireQuiz to bridge this knowledge gap through engaging, interactive quizzes and well-researched educational guides.

Our Content

We offer 100 fire safety quizzes across 10 categories:

Our Approach

All our quizzes and articles are developed with accuracy and clarity in mind. We research our content from official sources including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the U.S. Fire Administration, the American Red Cross, and local fire department guidelines. Our articles are written to be accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds — no technical jargon, just practical, life-saving information.

Each quiz contains 10 multiple-choice questions designed to test real-world fire safety knowledge. After completing a quiz, you will see your score, learn which answers were correct, and receive an explanation for each question so you understand not just what to do, but why.

Meet the Team

FireQuiz is run by a small team of educators, firefighters, and safety professionals who believe that fire safety education should not require a subscription or a course fee. We are committed to keeping this resource completely free, forever.
